Milling sector
In the milling industry Technobins boasts a long experience and continuous collaboration with the main companies in the sector.
There are many types of silos that can be used in mills.
If we consider grain storage, understood as large quantities almost always coming from ships or from commerce, the most used silos are round with a flat bottom (spiral or corrugated depending on the technological requirements such as the type of conservation and its duration, organic farming, etc.).
For the storage of blended grain, hopper silos and silos with weight doser are generally required.
Furthermore, layered descent (first in – first out) with multiple discharges per single cell is often required.
In some cases, rapid transit silos are also placed and the grain is then transferred to existing blending silos.
Following the processing cycle, there are then the wet grain cells, which we have often recently made with flat-walled cells in stainless steel, but which can also be round and made of galvanized sheet metal (the smoothness of the product is important).
The flour cells are also made, both in the round version and with a smooth flat wall in series (the latter solution allows not to have dead spaces at risk of infestations); they are generally equipped with a vibrating extractor and made of powder-coated sheet metal in the oven with food products or in stainless steel.
As far as bran cells are concerned, Technobins always recommends food-grade coating as the bran destination often changes depending on the market: the latest trends are round cells with unloading by means of an extractor for products that are difficult to flow and positioned on structures for direct loading onto trucks.
Depending on the type of plant, needs arise for other by-products (middlings etc.) or for waste (for example, pre-cleaning waste) in some cases diced and often prepared for rapid delivery.
Technobins is specialized in providing groups of cells including the entire industrial building, with considerable savings thanks to the technical choices.
